RSPB Rainham Marsh

We had a lovely day at the RSPB reserve - there is a brand new visitors centre and there are newly laid paths which are great for pram pushing.

Hainault Country Park

Sunday afternoon, and we went to Hainault Country Park.
I love how close the countryside is to the city here.

B loved all the kites

K loved all the attention from her cousins

And we all loved the cool low ropes course!

Why did we go to London for Whit?

For the sight seeing? For the theatre? To see Uncle J and Auntie K - sorry - we really went to see this little beauty!

M's Anglesey Trip

M spent 3 days at the Conway Centre in Anglesey with school - there were lessons and fun and discos - and she had a go at sea traversing along the coast line at Sounth Stacks!

Early morning off

Happy and exhausted at the end.

Cubs Sports Day

Lets face it - B is not a natural athlete - but he put his all into his leg of the relay at the District Cub Sports day

Oxfordshire Friends

We went on from Stratford to see friends in Oxfordshire - B's Godparents C and D, and their lovely children C and C, who gave us a great Sunday lunch (and who we somehow managed to fail to take a single photo of) and M's Godparents C and R with my gorgeous god-daughter E (who we got lots of hotos of!)

Young Peoples Hamlet

On our morning in Stratford M and I left Al and B to their own devises (which turned out to be playing frisbee in Bancroft Gardens, eating cakes and brass ruubbing!) while we saw the YP Hamlet at the Courtyard Theatre. Like last years YP Comedy of Errors it was pitched perfectly for M, and at an hour and a half, it was just the right length too. M was rather entranced by the amusing Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, and was most put out at their fate "Mummy, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead!" (there could be something in that LOL)

This production is touring into schols, and the production photographs show how the play works just as well in a school hall as in the wonderful Courtyard!
