We love jet boats
Every year we see the jet boats in the bay at Llandudno - why haven't we been on then before?
As Miss M says - THE BEST THING EVER!

A morning at Bodnant gardens
Where we walked and admired the trees and Mr Ben poked things with a stick!
A walk to the Afon Dulyn
We went for a trek to one of my favourite spots in the whole world - the bridge at the Afon Dulyn
We parked at Tal-y-Bont and walked up the hill to Llanbedr - stopping for photo ops at the The Bull Inn and Pen-y-Graig (my grandparents house for 30 years)
Then it was a walk through the woods to the river....
.... to get to the bridge....
.... and the amazing rocks!
I spent many happy times here with my brother, climbing, playing, reading
(yes, the BEST spot to sit and read)
Miss M and Mr B were very happy to go and clamber onto the rocks - I decided to stay on the bridge and watch!
Then it was a stroll back down to the car.

After a grey day.....

Quad biking @ Penllyn
All the way up the hill to Penllyn Mr B asked
"Can I go on the quad bike with Uncle P?"
All the way up the hill we said
"You must be patient - have lunch and then ask. Don't mither or fuss about it."
All the way up the hill Mr B replied "I won't fuss. I won't mither"
We pulled into the farmyard and parked.
Mr B got out of the car - ran up to Uncle P and asked "Can I go on the quad bike?"...

Mr Ben @ Batman Live!
The end of the birthday treats....
we took Mr B to see Batman Live
I booked this months ago - it's a brand new show - the World Premier was on Wednesday!
And it was fabulous! Forget the overly dark (and rather pretentiously boring) new films - this was proper hero stuff!
It was also far more theatrical than I expected - full of clever tricks, effects and staging - Mr B loved it - I loved it - and My Mister thought it was "AWESOME!"
Oh - and add in a Batmobile designed by an F1 engineer - perfect!

Evening at Liverpool Pier Head
We went to Liverpool for the evening - hoping to see this - but Mr B was in no mood to wait around. So we walked aournd admiring the new buildings, then headed home. But not before Miss M took a chance to pose!
