St Georges Day

The annual St Georges Day Parade - and look who was chosen to carry the flag for the Beavers.

He did really well too - it's a long walk for little legs...

.... M was just about awake after her sleepover yesterday with C....

...though I do hear tell that she dozed off during the prayers and had to be nudged awake by C!

My 3 scouting stars!

At the London Wetlands Centre

The first day of our trip to London - and we had a lovely afternoon in the sun at the Wetlands Centre in Barnes.

While A went off to investigate the hides, we attacked the playground.

With the cool climbing wall...

,,,and the fab swings.

But best of all - the interactive water features! Our last visit was at a February half term, so we hadn't had a chance to get wet - but this time I had a change of clothes ready and it was warm enough for a soaking to be in order!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday afternoon at Gma's means it's Egg Hunt time...

.. so it was out with the little buckets, and off into the undergrowth to look for eggs.

According to Gma, we usually miss some of the eggs and she finds the wrappers later on in the year - hopefully this year we got them all!
M and B were certainly happy with their haul of chocolate!

Quad Biking at Penllyn

A good morning at Penllyn - an easter egg hunt with Auntie J - and then rides on the quad with Uncle P!

Sometimes as they disapear into the distance I wonder if they are ever coming back!

First trip to the caravan...

... in 2009. Nana and Grandad were there for Easter - so we popped over for the day - and had fun in the sun.

Tempest Times Two!

M's fabulous trip to Leeds to see the RSC's Tempest.

She enjoyed the wonderful shopping arcades and the beautiful theatre. She was entranced by the production - and then insisted that we wait by the satge door to collect autographs.

Sadly Anthony Sher didn't come out - but M charmed the rest of the actors and collected lots of autographs!

Train Trip with Gpa and Gma

While I was off in Leeds with M watching The Tempest (of which more to follow) - B had a trip out with Gma and Gpa to the East Lancs Railway....

...which he enjoyed greatly...

...and so did Gpa!
