Southport Airshow 2015

We dropped Megs and Jamie at the station
{they were getting the train to York for the Uni open day}
and were on the road to Southport by seven thirty.

The usual cunning tactic of an early start worked as well as usual -
we were parked up and eating breakfast at Frannkie and Bennies
by the time Facebook exploded with complaints about the queues on the road.

It was a great show -
the inevitable highlight being a Red/Vulcan flypast
and the Vulcan displaying on one of it's very last days in the air.

Ben did really well - set up in his chair -
but even so we had to leave before the final couple of displays
and we sadly missed a great show from the Typhoon -
but... there's always next year!
