Dr Faustus at the RSC

One of our FAVOURITE plays -
and Megs is studying it in her theatre studies A level -
so we were off to Stratford again.

It was a lovely spring day - warm enough to have coffee by the Avon -
with that glorious feeling of 'We've survived another winter!"

The play itself was brilliant -
the roles of Faustus and Mephistopheles swapped about by the lead actors -
they walked onto stage, stuck a match, and whosoever's went out first
 played Faustus for that performance.

Songs, and music and dancing -
and a Helen of Troy scene that ripped my heart out.
Loved it!

And Ben - he did his sit in the cafe and watch on his tablet thing :)
