Happy Halloween!

After a day with a class of very excited 5 year olds,
 (all discussing their costumes/parties/who they were going to trick or treat)
I just wanted to get home to see Megs and Ben in their costumes -

but being a Wednesday, I was stuck at staff meeting,

 while Megs and Ben enjoyed the traditional Halloween games with Grandma.

{every year we play the same silly games we started when Megan was a toddler -
bob apples, draw a monster, stick the nose on the witch etc}

I caught up via Meg's instagram photo -

with the story "Ben ran into the room, shouted 'Look Megan, I'm a skeleton'

 and collapsed with laughter."

At least I got there in time for the bob apples - Ben was determined to get as many as possible - and didn't give up until most of the water was out of the bowl and on the kitchen floor.

Meg's is saving her major dressing up for tomorrows Explorer Scout Halloween party.
