Did I mention spring was coming....

... I spoke too soon.... we woke today to 2 inches of snow ...... all melted during the day, but it did mean there was snowman building at church after the service!
Here's Bernard the snowman!

A Gauntlet Afternoon

The sun came out this afternoon - so we went off to Gauntlet for the 3 o'clock bird display....

....where the star was Hannah the white tailed eagle....

...who put on a fantastic show....

...then it was over to Fryers, for afternoon tea while watching the small birds outside on the bushes...

M would like to point out that she took the above picture :)

Looks like spring is on it's way!

Afternoon in Liverpool...

... with cousins S and C.
We went to Sudley House in Mossely Hill
The rather natty results of the crown making workshop.

Then we headed down to Sefton Park for some fresh air.
Look - Blue Sky!
And the sun was out! It was (nearly) warm(ish)!

There has been lots of redevelopment work at Sefton Park - restored ponds, waterways and fountains. And a rather nice new playground :)

In Whitefield

We went to Whitefield to see Auntie M - the snow etc over Christmas had meant that we didn't get to see her then. And guess what - despite the sunshine here - over near the hills it had snowed again...

In the sfternoon we went to a craft workshop at Philips Park - it was really well run - M made a snake puppet and B made a a 'lion bull with stripy horns and vicious teeth!'

Stunning acting skills there with your 'frightened' look M!

It turns out that sliding on a plastic bag down a snow covered playground slide is lots of fun (if a bit cold and wet!)

So....we've had more snow....

... and whilst I personally have had more than enough of the white stuff....... M and B are still delighted to see it...

...today's snowman is called Andrew! :)
