Christmas Day at Grandma's House

As always we went to church for 11 o'clock on Christmas Morning, then it was on to Grandma's house for lunch and more presents...

... Mr B got Bakugan and a light saber...
... Little Miss K got a Happy Land London Bus...

... and Miss M got lots (and lots) of books!

We had a wonderful time - much of which was spent playing with the gorgeous Little Miss K....
... who loves her books...

... and is growing up way to fast!

Christmas Morning.....

.... opening presents from Father Christmas at 6.30am!

Miss M ddn't know that FC knew how to order from etsy - she's been eyeing up htis bag for months and had no idea that it was coming!

Apparently snoods are trendy again - who knew? It was on Miss M's list though!

Christingle Service

Since the children arrived we never seem to be able to get to the Midnight Service on Christmas Eve - the late afternoon Christingle Service isn't really the same, but for now it does.

Birthday trip to Tatton

Christmas Eve = My Birthday

Today it was my BIG birthday - 40!

Sadly A had to work, so we decided the best thing would be to meet up at Tatton Park - half way between home and Macclesfield - for lunch(guinea fowl and venison sausages anyone?) and a stroll in the snow.

It was lovely and quiet and beautiful - perfect for my birthday!

Thursday 23 December 2010

Finally...

...we beat the snow to meet up with K and E at the World of Glass in St Helens.

Where K presented me with the loveliest necklace for my birthday - and we drank cofee and hot chocolate ....

... while the children charged around the mirror maze!

Walking round the frozen pond....

The pond at Victoria Park is nearly completely frozen over... and it is strong enough to walk on (by the edge - holding my hand!)

The birds in the park were magnificent today

This is a huge snowball that has been pushed into the pond and is now frozen in place!
