I got the tickets for this concet months ago - with the plan being to meet up with my dear friend K and Miss E. It would have been lovely, but unfortunatly K had the most horrible time trying to get into Liverpool. Lethal roads, late running trains, iced up car parks and dreadful Network Rail employees all conspired to mean that she and Miss M were stuck and unable to get into Liverpool in time. So disappointing.
The concert itself was marvelous....
... it was fun and exciting and really, really Christmassy....
... and it entranced Mr B completely...
... but it would have been even better with friends.
