A lovely Sunday for Biking

It's really autumn - but this weekend it stil felt pretty summery to me.

Megs wasn't feeling to well again - so we took Ben for a bike ride down to the river.

Last Years Fair/Rally was cancelled -

 the wet summer/early autumn rain had left the field too muddy - 

But this year the sun shone and it was glorious!

A surprisingly sunny afternoon at Martin Mere -

While Al was off taking bird photots

{he saw a kingfisher!}

we played around and took some portraits!

Really interesting to see/hear how a live radio show is produced - 

and with the theme being Movie Soundtracks - right up our street!

He went to Scout Camp........

.... and despite the dire weather forcast he survived...

{so did the leaders}

and I think he mostly enjoyed it -

though since he arrived home he's had a bath, watched a lot of TV and not really spoken

{his usual post camp response}

So I do believe he's very happy to be home!
