Fracture Clinic

Good news - a new and much more comfortable sling.

Bad news - no driving for the next 4 weeks.
Another week off work - and after that "light duties" until half term.

Off to Aberdeen...

... for Laura and Wayne's wedding.

Ben was VERY excited about flying

{even though we had an hours wait on the tarmac at Manchester
due to low cloud and helicopters -
aren't there always low clouds and helicopters in Aberdeen?}

Radial head fracture

Yep, Tuesday evening I tripped over a lump in the road outside our house and fell akwardly.

End result - one radial head fracture (broken elbow) on my right arm.

{the same arm I smashed up the wrist of back when I was a geology student - at least this time I wasn't in the wilds of Scotland and I didn't heve to hike off the mountain first before travelling 3 hours to the nearest hospital - so thats a blessing :) }

So no Nursery for the rest of this week -
and probably not until I've been to the fracture clinic next Tuesday afternoon.

Oh - and we're flying to Aberdeen this weekend for Laura and Wayne's wedding.
A flight with a sling sounds lots of fun!

Easter Sunday 2014

A fabulous service at FMC -
we sang the musical "Jerusalem Joy" -
 the hall was set out for cafe worship and it was packed -
so lovely to have all ages together.

We shared communion at tables in families-
then went outside into the prayer garden to sing Thine Be The Glory.

Then we had lunch at Gma's and the traditional Easter egg hunt in her garden.
These days it's very competitive!

And result - Ben 16, Megan 13 and 1 lost in the shrubbery!
