Time to (Share and) Enjoy

Escaping on a Monday doesn't happen often - but neither does the chance to see a live recording of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

The cast may be older - but they are still Aurthur, Ford, Saphod and Trillion!

The adaptation was very clever - the first half closely following the  "original" Hitchhikers story - The Vogans Blowing up Earth for a hyperspace bypass, Aurthur and Ford escaping etc - all the way to Magerathea and the discovery of the new earth/computer.

The second half was adapted from many of the later stories/book/radio shows. All the best scenes/lines were there - but it was all a little chaotic.

The whole thing was well done -
and the portrail of Marvin the Paranoid Android was nothing short of brilliant.

Most importantly of all - even after all these years it still makes us laugh!

{Thank you to Kathie for suggesting the post title!}
