A Giant Straw Dalek?

Yes our final day trip of the summer holidays was to Snugbury's Ice Cream Farm

to see a 35 foot tall dalek!

{and to eat some amazing ice cream}

The dalek moved - it talked -

{EXTERMINATE!}

Kathie and I loved it

Megs and Eleanor loved it

Benjamin looked at it and declared "Been there done that"

{his latest phrase}

Then we ate the rather fablous ice -

and called in at a particularly lovely pub for tea/coffee/more chatting time. 

And that was it for the summer holidays - 

yes there's one more weekend before I go back to school -

and the kids have Monday and Tuesday off -

but mostly we're done -

and a giant straw dalek was dertainly the best way to end!
