Sutton Hoo

I was first introduced to the Anglo Saxon Burial Ground and artifacts at Sutton Hoo when I was at school - and I've always found the story fascinating.

Last October Al and I saw the artifacts in the British Museum -

 today we went to visit the actual site.

It was lovely and sunny when we arrived -

unfortunately the weather went off in the afternoon -

but it was an interesting day

{and you always have to take advantage of National Trust Sites with a Children's Playground!}
